COMMITMENT LETTER
2008 –2009 Club Policies Club Commitment The Club will provide the highest level of training to all of our players. Our coaches/trainers are continually upgrading their skills, to provide our players with the best possible education of the sport of soccer Our trainers will effectively teach the skills of the game and build the endurance of our players. Both aspects go hand in hand, a player with no skills won’t help their team. And a player who has skill but no endurance cannot contribute late in a match. Our Club has a "No Cut" policy. As long as the player has the Drive to learn and the Intensity to train, they will have a spot on F.C. America. Our focus is "Learning the Game" and we will learn from losses as well as our wins.. We will at times, play teams "Out of Our League" and lose, hopefully we will learn from that . Skills, Commitment and Teamwork is what we will attempt to teach our players. Player Commitment Players will Commit to attend training sessions. All teams normally train twice per week, most players should be able to attend at least one session per week. Any absences should be reported to the Head Coach or Team Manager in advance. All Players need to commit to their team for the entire Seasonal Year, August 1 to July 31 of the following year. When the season starts, your Team is depending on you. Any player leaving the Club during the Season will not receive any refund of fees paid in advance and will not receive their player pass until the Club receives any fees that are due. Parents Commitment Parents should do their best to insure that their players attend as many training sessions as possible. Parents should respond to Club President or Team Manager in a timely manner when notices are sent. Periodically the Club is requested to participate in Exhibitions and/or Special Events. Everyone Should Attend. Absence from practice or games should be communicated the Coach or Team Manager by the player in advance. If the player cannot make the call or e – mail, the Parent is required to. All Training, Game and Tournament schedules are listed on the Club Web Sites. Please be sure to check the web sites before leaving for any function. Changes sometimes happen because of weather or other reasons and there isn’t always time to E – Mail everyone. Tournaments and games are not optional. Your team is depending on your player to show up. Conflicts are understandable and should be communicated to the Coach or Team Manager well in advance of the game. Periodically the Club or individual Teams may run fundraisers to defray costs and/or reduce costs of tournaments, league fees, etc. Everyone is expected to participate. Player Signature
